Over the past few months I have tried different recipes and ended up blending a few together and this is what I now use.
1/2 cup hazlenuts
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup Blend 11 Good Mix
1/2 cup coconut
1/3 cup protein powder (use whatever you like I personally like chocolate pea protein)
1 tablespoon cacao powder
3/4 cup dates (blended or chopped finely)
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons rice malt syrup
1 teaspoon peppermint essence (optional)
Blend the nuts, dates, coconut, chia, protein and cocoa powder together then and add rice malt syrup and coconut oil.
Roll into balls and refrigerate or freeze.
Note: You can use whatever nuts you like, and you can also roll them in coconut, cacao powder or cacao nibs for something a little different.
