Chia is jam packed with nutrients including protein, omega 3 fatty acids, fibre and can help you feel fuller for longer.
This is a great healthy snack option and best of all they taste delicious! I have these as my mid afternoon snack and to add a little Christmas flavour I've added peppermint essence for my family so we have some healthier alternatives to chocolate this year.
Over the past few months I have tried different recipes and ended up blending a few together and this is what I now use.
1/2 cup hazlenuts
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup Blend 11 Good Mix
1/2 cup coconut
1/3 cup protein powder (use whatever you like I personally like chocolate pea protein)
