Baby in a whaaaat? you might ask! Well yes it's a baby box and a very good one at that!
This is Tuutu Box and I'm so unbelievably grateful to be linked with them. This is an amazing concept and is seriously helping to reduce the risk of SIDS particularly in Finland!
I love that PPF can support, promote and be involved with providing information and special offers to new mums with Tuutu Box.
I had a chat with Susanna one of the founders of Tuutu Box to help you understand the concept a little more.

How to set up the Nursery to protect YOUR back

So let's talk nursery. How much fun are you having thinking about and planning your nursery? Well some of you might find it a bit overwhelming. So I'm here to give you another perspective when choosing your furniture.
I'm not giving any styling advice whatsoever, my advice comes from a postural point of view with the idea to prevent you from having back pain.
Firstly where are you going to feed your child?
If you choose to have a chair here's some things to think about.
  • Make sure the chair has back support and by this I mean it's high, can accomodate you leaning back into it, and it has lumbar support. You can always add cushions in the small of the back (curve) to add extra support.

Secret Link: Raspberry Leaf Tea and your Pelvic Floor

26/4/2016

Red Raspberry Leaf otherwise known as rubus ideaus, has been used since the sixth century for medicinal purposes and since the 1940's for western medical practices as a uterine tonic.

What does it do? The common thought is that Raspberry Leaf in the form of tea or tablets can reduce the labour time for pregnant women. It is a uterine tonic and helps tone the uterus in preparation for labour. It may also help with reducing nausea and morning sickness and can promote better circulation (helping with those puffy ankles). Following birth it can also be used to help the uterus shrink back down, boost your immune system and also assist with milk supply.

Faster Pregnancy Recovery

14/4/2016

Who doesn’t want to recover from childbirth quickly?
Pregnancy and childbirth is hard for your body. Knowing you can exercise your pelvic floor muscles from day 1 is a must! Get them working as soon as possible. However, there is one other thing I highly recommend for all my pregnant clients and that is the SRC Recovery Shorts.
Whether you’re having a vaginal delivery or caesarian these shorts are fabulous in giving medical grade compression to your area's that need it the most, either the perineal wound or caesarian wound. This allows you to move around like everything isn't going to fall out, regain your strength and generally recover faster.

Mould Free Bath Toys

Oli & Carol is here! I'm so excited by this. I found this amazing brand last year and just had to stock it so all you lovely people out there can sample it for yourself.
Let me tell you a little about why I love Oli & Carol. Firstly they make their products chemical free. PVC, BPA, Phthalate and Nitrosamine Free. The cute little rubber ducks don't have a hole in them so they still float in the bath and your little one will love them but they won't go all mouldy and disgusting like so many other bath toys.
Their products are made from 100% natural rubber from Hevea Malaysian trees, and they are Biodegradable, Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly. They are also hand painted with food grade dye's so they are completely safe for your baby to chew on. I gave my 6 month old niece the strawberry chewable for xmas and she absolutely loved it and munched on it until the cows came home.

How to push your pram

9/10/2015

This is something I have shared with some of my clients a long time ago but has resurfaced recently while helping family and friends with their prams.
How are you pushing your pram? have you even thought about this before? Well you should! And if you are pregnant and looking for a pram, look no further than here. Poor posture is one of the main reasons new mums have back pain. This means poor posture during the tasks you do frequently whether it be with a heavy weight, repetitive or awkward can be detrimental to your back.
